On some Samsung and Xiaomi devices, it may happen that call screens are not displayed, when the application is not allowed to run in the background. Make sure this is not the case and that the app is indeed allowed to run in the background.
On Xiaomi/Redmi devices, enable the MIUI permission by going to the device Settings / Apps / twinme / Other permissions / Open new windows while running in the background.
